Teflon® plastic coating as a non-stick coating at Gicopa
Gicopa makes sugar-free syrup-based candies that must be vacuum cooked at a temperature of 165°C.
To prevent this syrup from sticking to the baking pan, the baking pan is coated with non-stick PFA Teflon®. Thus, after the cooking time, the syrup can be easily removed from the baking vessel without sticking to it.
The Teflon coating also ensures that the kettle can be cleaned smoothly and easily, leaving no residue.
PFA Teflon® is resistant to 260° in in continuous and up to 290° in peak.
